1. What is the maximum print size of The Maple 4?
A: 200 x 200 x 300 mm (L x W x H). Note: The very corners have a holder attached, so parts can't print right in the corner edge

2. Is The Maple 4 easy to use?
A: There are a bunch of features that allow this machine to work autonomously; effectively the machine allows "One Click Printing".
I.e. the machine can heat up, home and level, purge material, begin a print and cool down autonomously just by pressing print.

3. Is The Maple 4 safe?
A: Compared to traditional glass making 3D printing is very safe. This is because the high temperature regions are enclosed, and the user typically does not need to intervene with the machine while printing.

4. What power requirements are required?
A: The Maple 4 runs off standard power; in Australia this is 220 - 240 V AC with 10A capacity. Alternate configurations may be available.

5. What materials can you print with?
A: We have printed with many types of glasses and many colours. The Vitri-Glass allows us to produce glass filament from many sources of material. Check out The Vitri-Glass here.

6. Can you make clear parts using the printer?
A: 3D Printing creates parts by printing layers, these layers cause the surface to be slightly ribbed. Post processing will need to be done to create a smooth more optically clear surface. This can be done with physical process of grinding and polishing OR reheating the part inside of a plaster mould to smooth layers together while maintaining the parts shape.

7. Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes, we have several units across the world. We arrange shipping, and configurations to suit local power.
