Glass 3D Printing in the United States, Rhode Island School of Design (RISD)

Digital Glass Fabrication

We are proud to announce our machines are now in Europe, Australia and the United States.

The sale of a glass 3D printer, The Maple 3, to the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in Washington marks the second Maple 3 machine in the US.

The team here have just finished their full day of training on the Maple 3. This includes setup, software, material preparation, designing features and more. Dylan, engineer at Maple Glass Printing, arrived a day earlier to ensure the machine was up and ready for training.

Description: The Maple 3 fits perfectly into any glass workshop

We can't wait to see what RISD make with glass 3D printing! The potential for glass blowing and 3D printed pieces fusing is exciting, just like the below piece, posted here.
